After a tough isolating few months during the NYC COVID lockdown, we first met (thank you Bumble!) in late August 2020 as we both decided to take full advantage of outdoor dining experience in Manhattan. At the time, Kevin had been living in Queens his whole life, and Neeti was living in Manhattan for her 2 years while doing endocrinology fellowship at NYU.

In spite of COVID restrictions, we spent our time in NYC trying new cuisines while admiring the parks, museums, and iconic architecture in the city that brought us together. It didn't hurt that Kevin was a natural NYC tour guide! After hearing Neeti complain one too many times about them having a "long distance relationship," Kevin moved to Manhattan to be closer to Neeti.

As Neeti's fellowship came to an end, she got her first attending job and moved to Short Hills, NJ. She didn't know that she could actually see her future wedding venue from her window at the time. Given Neeti's distaste of being too "long distance," Kevin moved to Jersey City, NJ. After our move to NJ, we finally got an opportunity to travel both locally and abroad to meet friends/family and explore new places as a couple.

In 2023, Kevin decided it was time to put a ring on it, and he proposed to Neeti while overlooking the NYC skyline they came to love. Now we return to Short Hills to a wedding venue that's always been on our minds, and we hope you all will be there to celebrate with us!
